In these past few days I've leaned 5 things:
1) Dying doesn't seem as bad when you are destined to be killed anyway
2) You are here for a reason, but we won't tell you the reason because we actually don't know it either. 
3) If you are ever at any point in time by yourself, you are dead, you just haven't been killed yet. 
4) The Shadows can kill us but we aren't smart enough to figure out how to kill them.
5) You have one purpose: Find a way to kill them, or die trying because killing them is the only way out.

Leah Miller is your regular teenage outcast who has a fear of getting  scared. Her memories have been wiped and she remembers nothing of her past.
