The story follows a headstrong, stubborn female Lieutenant of the Major Crimes Division and her small team of detectives doing their due dilligence to solve the many cases that come through their doors and out into the courts. When a new female Prosecutor takes over the division's cases after a string of failed Prosecutors due to the Lieutenant's hostility, she meets her match with the new decidely aloof and sharp tongued Prosecutor and her State Prosecutor brother.

This story contains graphic mentions of same gender sex, violence and everything in between. As well as some most likely inaccuracies of police procedure due to my lack of American Law knowledge. The story falls into a world that in such men are able to become pregnant by other males and the same for females and other females among other things that will be explained as the story progresses.

This is actually supposed to be the 5th installation of The Arrangement series but it's the third book I wrote. Feel free to read this while I write the actual 3rd part. Alex Carter, 28, is a prosecutor who takes on all rape cases and occassionally acts as a defence attorney especially when police brutality is involved. She has a deep hatred for cops. Especially Detective Kane-Evans and her sleazebag partner Detective Rivers. But she has no choice but to work with them especially in rape cases. Unfortunately, Detective Kane-Evans was the best in her field. Alex found her absolutely gorgeous with her long dark brunette hair which was almost black and her blue green eyes, too bad she was an asshole cop just like the rest of them. She hated it whenever she would try and flirt with her. It was totally unprofessional and completely uncalled for. No wonder why everyone calls cops pigs. But then something bad happens and she finds the only person who she can trust and who can protect her is Detective Kane-Evans. She soon finds out that maybe, just maybe not all cops are bad. Read at your own risk. This is a wlw book and has adult themes like sexual assault and murder.
