Seventeen-year-old Nova McCoy isn’t just a normal teenager. Ever since she was a child, she’s had the ability to see ghosts. Living in the town of Lost Forest, Washington, where Dead Girl’s Curve is a local haunt, she’s constantly seeing the echoes of the dead. When a new ghost starts stalking Nova, she’s determined to get to the bottom of what happened to the person he once was, no matter the cost.

A local sheriff’s deputy, Tegan McCoy is used to small-town crime. He was the first on the scene for Sophia Leclair, the teen now infamous for Dead Girl’s Curve, and he’s more than accustomed to his daughter’s ability. So when she confides she’s seeing a new ghost, he’s more than willing to start a side-investigation into what may have happened in his sleepy little town.

The McCoys get drawn into the world of the dead to uncover the mystery of the ghost, into a place the living should never go. Nova’s ability is the only thing keeping them alive in their dangerous determination. Together, the two of them fight to stay alive in a realm of the dead, to receive answers for the ghost, and possibly for the questions they never had answers to for years.

In the crossroad of the dead and the living, the dead seem determined to take Nova’s ability and sanity and possibly her life, and Tegan’s love and humanity may be the ultimate kryptonite against them.

She is now at the mercy of a man who is not human and his hell hounds. Trapped in a sprawling mansion that is alive with magic of its own, Clair must make every move count. Especially when she survives longer than any other. When Isaiah sets his sights on her, and decides he wants Clair for more than an entertaining game, she doesn't know if she should run or give in. -an offer "I promise to give you three days full immunity from me and my hell hounds, so long as you draw what I show you, and you kiss me." Her heart stopped beating in her chest, oh god she couldn't do that. She could barely take him touching her without freaking out. His hand moved to the side of her neck his thumb by her ear. He didn't force her to look up just waited for her decision. Isaiah had no idea if she would accept his offer or not. If she didn't then he was going to have her body right here and now. If she did then she'd get her three days ,and he'd have to wait for that pleasure. More than likely he'd have to hunt her down again. But that was the fun of it, either way he doubted he'd be disappointed. "What happens if I don't?" She asked. "I'm waiting for an answer." He replied and that very clearly told her that she wouldn't enjoy what he planned to do if she said no. Full story on Hinovel app! Search Reaper's Word

Supernatural/Modern AU. Finding three mysteriously dead teens causes Sheriff Snotlout Jorgensen to call in his cousin and his band of supernatural investigators. Unexpectedly finding themselves in the past, Hiccup has to solve the mystery or they will all share the dead teens fate. Sequel to 'The Spectre of Raven Point' A/N: Halloween again and I couldn't resist the opportunity to deploy paranormal investigator Hiccup Haddock once more. Of course, there are no more spooky lighthouses in need of exorcism but a spooky house, some mysterious murders and a century-old wrong should keep him busy. Enjoy! Disclaimer: I do not own How To Train Your Dragon. Rights remain with Cressida Cowell and Dreamworks. Brief reference to family names from 'Interesting Times' by Terry Pratchett. The man was a genius. RIP. Apologies to Vala 411 for Astrid's qualifications.
