I think brown eyes are underrated
I think it's unfair to think they're outdated
Or to get frustrated
That they can't be traded
With blue eyes, color of the sky
Where birds are free to fly high
Or with green eyes, color of the land
It's beauty just so grand
Or simply with any color but mine
Anything is fine
 I will take any compromise
As long as they're not old boring brown eyes
But then I looked outside
Saw the countryside
Saw the hills and the forests and the sea
And it was like I had found the key
Because beneath all of those
Was soil
Rich, dark and primordial
Vital and essential
Without there would be no land
A confused mass of water trying to understand Why the sky was weeping
Why the hills were crumbling
And why the winds were howling
So remember this as you look into your big brown eyes
They are your allies
Not awful like a knife
But the color of life
