It's been more than 500 years since humanity tore itself apart, a series of natural disasters and nuclear war killing most of the population. The world is still irradiated and people are still dying, but small groups of survivors are making the best of what they have. Everyone is looking out for their own survival.

Mitch and Jerome were born days apart, the only survivors of a large family group, struggling with the realization that humanity wasn't as perfect as they thought. Mitch wants to believe that humanity did good.
Josh and Simon seemingly have everything they needed, food, water, shelter and each other, but Josh wants more than that. He wants to begin the journey back to where humanity was, to where everyone could live comfortably.
Lachlan and Rob were trying their best to keep their little group alive, making the most of the natural resources around them while Preston battles with the idea of religion, old versus new.
Harry and Vikk simply want to find peace in their life, stability with a group of people they could trust. There isn't much trust in a world where resources are scarce. 

All of them dream of more, of a better life. Can they find what they were looking for?

None of them ever expected to be reaped, none of them thought they were going to be forced into fragile alliances for their very survival. They never expected that they would be thrown into the Hunger Games where they would have to fight to the death- and only one would survive. Vikk and Harry were forced together out of fear, being some of the youngest tributes. Mitch and Jerome had been friends since childhood and when one volunteered for the other, they knew they would go together. Preston, Rob and Lachlan allied because they felt alone and needed someone to fight with. Josh and Simon were from different districts but allied to have a better chance. The Hunger Games created relationships and then tore then all down- all for entertainment- panem et circenses. {This is a Wroetostar, Merome, Pooflan and Minizerk book and take place during the 74th Hunger Games. With no witnesses willing to come forward and hope running out fast, what is there to do? First a day passes. Then a week. Everyone is frantic, pleading his return- pleading for information. Someone must know what happened, someone must have seen him. Someone took him, and that someone is still holding him. If they hadn't killed him already. Time ticks on. Vikk can't continue a normal life like this, no one can move on. There are photographs, memorials, tributes and everyone is still pleading for someone to come forward, but no one does. How can anyone move on like this?

When something does not go your way, or someone isn't doing something they way you want them to do it, the proper response is to calmly resolve the conflict. Find a compromise, and let it be done. What you should NOT do, is start a massive war between six kingdoms. Some were not quite satisfied with the way the Royal kingdom was governing their lives. And right under the kingdoms nose, rebel groups started to form, each with their own standards as to how the land should be run. These groups grew into organizations, and by the time the Royal kingdom realized what was going on, in the blink of an eye five new kingdoms arose. And it did not take long for these five rebel kingdoms declare war on not only the Royal kingdom itself... But each other as well. The Royal kingdom, Mutant kingdom, Hidden kingdom, Spell kingdom, Dimension kingdom, and Rouge kingdom launched themselves into a pit of anger, death, and thirst for victory. But the will of each individual kingdom to win was so strong, the war dragged on up until now, twenty-seven years later. It's clear there will never be a winner, yet the kingdoms still fight, refusing to surrender. Rob, Preston, Jerome, Vikk, Mitch, and Lachlan are six equally war fuelled men, currently wrapped up in the peak of the fight, each in their own separate kingdoms.
