With a sharp eye for storytelling and a drive to succeed, she's determined to make a name for herself. Her connection to Paige starts as nothing more than a friendship, forged in the shared space of their dorm room and mutual respect's dreams. But as they spend more time together, an undeniable tension builds, and neither of them can ignore it. As Paige chases her basketball dreams and Dakota hustles to establish herself in a competitive field, their paths grow increasingly intertwined. What begins as a spark of friendship slowly kindles into something deeper. Amid late-night study sessions, on-court victories, and the pressures of college life, they begin to navigate the complex terrain of love, ambition, and self-discovery. But as their feelings for each other intensify, they must learn to balance their evolving relationship with their dreams. Can their love survive the challenges of college life, or will their ambitions pull them in separate directions? After each short chapter, a song that correlates with what happened will be at the end to listen to, this offers a deeper understanding of how the story can be perceived. Each chapter, as well as the story title, relates to a song. Both short stories and songs are an art form and are so intertwined that is why we decided to create the story this way. This is a short story, so it is a very quick read.
