Clay Richardson is a high school dumpster fire with low grades and even lower standards.

One day, he stumbles upon an unlabeled game boy cartridge with black marker all over it! (Spooky.) He decides to skip class and take it to the library to play it on his gameboy he got a couple Christmas's ago. And as he turns his gameboy on, he is transported to a world in turmoil, in a war between two dragons! Join him on his journey to criticize the writing and tropes of the world as he accidentally becomes its true hero!

Story Blurb: In the land of Origia, Clay Richardson has to find a way back home after being seemingly ensnared by an evil game cartridge, and has to travel through this world and learn its mechanics to be able to find a way back to the real world.

Disclaimer: This story might be a sensitive topic for some, but this is not to be an attack on writers or readers of such fantasy. Instead, it is a parody of gaming and fantasy tropes just to get out a good laugh. With that said, I hope you enjoy. :)

"So, let me get this straight. You stomped all over his paperwork?" She started. "Not intentionally, but yes," I confirmed it. "Threw a drink in his face?" She added. "Expensive red wine." I described. "Rammed into his car with yours deliberately?" she counted on her third finger. "Um...I'm not proud of that one," I said cringing. "And called him offensive names?" She ended the list and I winced. "Twice." I specified. "And you're still alive?" She blinked, looking genuinely surprised. "Geez, don't be dramatic or anything..." I frowned at her hyperbolic statement. "Maybe he's keeping you around to get revenge." She suggested. Possible. I wouldn't put it past him. "I didn't know alright!" I exclaimed. "Let's hope that excuse is acceptable.." She was merely amused. "Working with my new boss is going to be a piece of work." ** Synopsis: When the CEO of Signature Heights: Jensen Black, and a stubborn employee: Alexandra Brook, clash, it's a battle of wits & a war of perseverance. Afterall, has his shadow been moving on its own? Or is it just his imagination. Follow the story of 14-year-old Daniel as he learns how to get through life. How to grow up. And how to love in multiple ways. Opening his heart and mind to the world and people around him. Rated mature for: Swearing Mature concepts Violence This book is dedicated to everyone who inspired me, encouraged me and stuck by me while I debated giving up on the concept for this book altogether. You all know who you are... I wanted to tell a story that breaks the norm to some aspect. Where the main character is a boy, not a girl. Where he is not perfect. And where he is even a - not bad - but does bad things sometimes. It's a story of coming into yourself and forging your own path. Despite how hard that path can be to walk. Choices you face, how you'll react to them. What to do when you've done something bad and how you can fix it. If you should fix it. Each choice you make - weather you realize it or not - forges the person you are. For every door you close another one is waiting to be opened. This is not a perfect story, but it's one I want to tell. One that comes from a personal place in my heart and one that is born in reality and bathed in fantasy. This story will deal with aspects of both worlds. And sometimes touch on heavier topics. Be prepared, to read about a character who is the farthest thing from perfect. But he doesn't need to be. He just needs to be himself. Oh, how hard that truly is.

Picture this: I suddenly find myself in a medieval fantasy world, like the ones I used to gobble up in books. But here's the comical conundrum: I've got no clue which exact story realm I've landed in. Well, you see, I have a habit of ditching books faster than a rabbit on roller skates if they don't captivate me. So now, I'm stuck navigating this new world armed with nothing but recycled plotlines, overused clichés, and predictable story arcs. It's like I'm playing a game with rules as simple as connecting the dots, but with my luck, it'll probably end up being more like connecting the dots during an earthquake! Who knows what kind of hilariously bizarre situations I'll find myself in? Original Story.
