Every time Rowan Ford walks past that derelict house on his street, he begins to feel as if it is watching him, pulling him in towards the thorny front gates. No one has ever seen the inhabitants, or at least that is what he believes. When his parents are kidnapped and he is left with nowhere to go, the house just down the street seems like the only place that can give him answers.
But something lies deeper, an intricate web of history, bloodshed and lies, just waiting to be awoken. Earth is being threatened by a superior force and devastation is imminent unless Rowan can harness his true potential and stop the enemy before it is too late.
