With constant worry and concern and being overly-protective of his younger colleague, Mark; James made sure to keep a watchful eye on him at all times. Although he never showed much emotion towards him, deep down he knew how much Mark meant to him, how much he kept him sane.. and how much he helped him in his dark past.
For this, he was eternally thankful, but he had troubles showing it from how socially anxious he'd grown to become. Mark didn't mind though, he enjoyed the comfortable silence once in a while.
