This story take place directly after a failed genocide. Frisk feels like she is a horrible person as she struggles to save all the monsters again, and is ashamed to show her face to Sans. She pushes all her friends away from her believing that they would all hate her after what she did.
Sans is conflicted with his feelings. He had good memories with Frisk, but could he forgive her after what she did??
IMPORTANT: Frisk and Chara are both female in this story. Sans can remember all past timelines, so he remembers Frisk's genocide perfectly. This is a Frans story, so if you don't like this ship then don't read the book. Frisk is not a kid in this story, she is around 16. Chara is a couple of years older than Frisk. Sans is a little older than Chara (also he's a monster so why are we questioning age?). Also I probably won't finish this story unless people want me to.
No characters belong to me. Undertale, it's quotes and it's characters belong to Toby Fox. This is just an Undertale fan fiction.

Undertale; Consequences of your actions.
Chara. The demon that comes when people call it's name. The title given to her by everyone that blamed her for the genocides. For what Frisk did just because they wanted to see what would happen. Because they refused to own up to their actions, and instead blamed the only person who could realistically be blamed. Chara. The human, who, despite her flaws, still tried to be a good person. She was forced into this endless cycle of murder and animosity against her will. She never wanted any part in this. Frisk, blaming Chara for their own atrocities, believes her to finally have given up. They think they are above consequences because its a game to them, that they will always win... Soon they will learn that they can't run away from them forever. Soon, the darkest pit of hell will open and swallow them whole. -All characters in this story are NOT mine except for one, she is my character. And she is not, I repeat, NOT a self insert. She is meant to be a dark mirror of Chara in a lot of ways, but similar to her in many more aspects. The others belong to Toby fox, the original owner of Undertale, as well as to Temmie Chang(hope I spelled it right.) This exists because I feel like too many people blamed Chara for our own actions. Because that was easier than to admit that genocide was a path that we chose of our own volition. This was especially true in the earlier years of the fandom, and is still true even today-to an extent. Due to that, and my combined love of the character, I just knew it was worth writing a happy ending for them, or in this story as I interpret Chara to be female. I know that they are in the cannon of Undertale, non-binary or genderless, but this a is fanfiction. I wrote the rules, I'm the "God" here. If you don't like that, then leave.
