Josh has been in prison since he was 16. Shoplifting used to be his favorite thing to do to pass the time and get some adrenaline. But small theft snowballed into stealing, mugging, breaking and entering, and shoplifting with a weapon. A gun. All it takes is one moment to change your life, and for Josh, that moment was December 17, 2004, at 9:57 pm. Regret and rage have filled his head and he closed himself off from everyone. Made sure to make himself the scariest guy in prison. And he succeeded. No one wanted to even get near him until Josh met Tyler.

Tyler didn't do it. Well, at least he says he didn't but no one believes him. He was there when she died. She was there when she was raped. He was there when the police arrived. He was the only one there when the police arrived. No one listened to his pleads of innocence and he was locked away for good. A troubled kid. A nuisance to the society. That's what everyone thought. But he was determined to fix that reputation. He was determined to get out for good. He was determined to not let anything come in the way of that, at least that's what he planned. But then Tyler met Josh.
