I'm putting my creative writing project here, let me know if you want it continued. The book is about a boy, Elliot, who jumps off a bridge. He then gets transported to an alternate universe where being sad is extremely frowned upon. If you are sad the Officials will change your brain and add robotic parts to it. Elliot has to struggle to get out of the stupid world and back to his own.

The total number of countries and nations been halved since then. The world though, was quick to adapt from being a post-war wasteland to a modern utopia. The New World Government was set-up and now faces a new problems. Another thing, Since the war was fought with tremendous amounts nuclear arsenals, this war caused mutations to humans. The mutation occurred on atomic and cellular level. From minimal mutations to major mutations like physical, temporal and elemental mutations. Though its cool to have those mutations some think it as a curse for human beings. Scientists on the other hand claims it as a disease. A cellular disease caused by the widespread exposure to nuclear radiations. They call this disease as X-men syndrome referenced from 20th century fictional comics. The fictional mutations on comics and manga is now a reality. I myself, is an X-men.
