Emilia Roberts is a junior in high school. Her dream is to become a nurse like her late mother and help her father who is overworking himself. 

Daniel Sandora is dangerous. He comes to school with fresh cuts and bruises but no one really knows how he gets them. Rumors are he's in a gang or that he walks around town itching for fights.

Daniel and his two best friends, Luke and Carson, are the three guys in school people don't mess with, hell they try not to even breath wrong in their direction. There's more to those three than they let on though and Emilia finds herself getting wrapped up with them more and more. 

With Daniel's new wounds everyday and Emilia's love to help people, it was only a matter of time before they met. Can Emilia bring herself to intertwine her fate with Daniel's or will it ruin her? 

Can Daniel protect everyone he cares about or will he lose those precious to him? Is there a way to keep his life under control when new forces are introduced?
