It was as if the world stood still in that moment I heard them breaking through the door, my head whipped round to see the dead start to pour into the room. Adrenaline pumped through my body as I jumped up onto my feet and pulled out my machete. I stood still evaluating the situation , my heart beating so fast, there were too many to fight off. I turned around, grabbed Rose's hand and ran over to the window. My eyes widened at the sight as I looked down and saw the breath taking jump to the next building, making me fear what was coming next knowing that was our only escape. I turned around, slicing the head of the undead creature right off its neck , protecting Nevaun from getting bitten. As He swung his axe right over my head , hitting another zombie square in the head, sending a spray of blood all over the back of me. I shivered in disgust.

"We have to jump!" I screamed at everyone at the top of my lungs, I looked around to see if anyone heard but they were either eaten or eating some one else. The sight broke my heart, this was my family. I knew I was being too slow in making my decisions, but all I could concentrate on was the sound of my heart beating in my chest. I quickly pulled Naomi to the floor by the hood of her jacket and away from the corpse that nearly took a chunk from her neck and watched her throw a knife into its head with what seemed no effort at all. Quicker than I have ever moved before I stepped forward to stop the zombie that I saw coming for me from the corner of my eye, but I stopped dead in my tracks as my heart sank deep in my chest.

I realised the zombie I was facing, was Rose...

The bones in her body were breaking and bending joint by joint. Her muscles were tensing, bending and twisting. As she continued to convulse on the cold metal slab, the restraints around her wrists, ankles and even the retainer in her mouth caused her ever increasing pain as they began to cut into her inch by inch with every seizure like convulsion that tore through her. Tears streamed down her face as her just audible groans squeaked from her throat. She could only make out the dark ominous figure as it continued to inject the serum into her heart. Her breathing became so erratic that it caused her to lose conscience but only for seconds at a time. She could feel new appendages growing from her head and back. Even her tail bone was bending and snaking its way from her body and protruding from her posterior. Her teeth began to change shape and length as her jaw reshaped its self to form around the new arrivals. Unfortunately, this was only the beginning... Trina was a devout Christian and history buff. She had gained fame and a small fortune from her discoveries. However, she wanted nothing more than to prove that Heaven and Hell did exist and was willing to get the evidence anyway she could. She had no idea what she was about to release upon herself or the world... Vincent was a brilliant detective in solving histories greatest mysteries from the empty honey comb tombs of Bohol to the recently discovered city of Atlantis. She is Fatal to Death (Standalone Story) by writeraliciagonzalez
50 parts Complete
She's dead by the third chapter. Okay, it's a bit more complicated than that. Okay, it's A LOT more complicated than that. Renata wants nothing more than to pay her bills through her mildly boring office job and figure out whether she is still in love with her best friend. The latter half of that desire is just a sneak peak into her messy life-and it's only getting messier. Considering the paranormal world she is about to dive head first into, she will come to realize that figuring out her heart may just be the easiest part of this journey. Well, the endless supply of supernatural hotness in this story may beg to differ-but that's besides the point. Either way, it's gonna be a killer time ;) EXCERPT Chicken tacos it is. Right as Renata grabbed the ingredients, she turned to put them next to the stove, where a clean, plastic cutting board awaited. But as she moved, she was confronted by a stranger, an intruder, standing mere inches from her. Before she could scream, he was on her, slamming her against the fridge. Her back flashed with sharp pain. Her eyes pricked with fear as she drank in his uncovered face. Deeply tanned skin. Ruby red eyes-ruby red eyes? Thick, slashing eyebrows. Flat, broad nose. Buzzcut. Handsome. That was as far as she would go in complimenting him considering this guy held a knife to her throat. When he spoke, his voice came out like thunder. It held a thousand threats and a thousand secrets. It held promise of pain if provoked. "If you scream," he warned, mouth pulled in a slight snarl, "this ends quickly." She didn't dare nod against the blade. He noticed and amusement lit up for just a second in those devilish eyes. Oh, whoever the fuck this was, she already hated him. Considering her predicament, panic was the most prominent emotion coursing through her at the moment. "Good." He removed his hand "Now you're going to answer my questions." °°MATURE AND EXPLICIT CONTENT OF ALL KINDS, AND I MEAN ALL KINDS°

"Asher what the hell are you doing hanging from a window?" he said as he slammed on the brakes and stuck his head further out the window to confirm it was in fact Asher. Without a second thought Asher grabbed his stuff and sprinted towards the car. Once he had dove in through the lowered back window the car took off again. "Only if you would have ran that fast at the tournament" he said to lighten the very serious mood. "If" Asher replies. ---- Once fierce rivals, Asher and Ezera now face a world turned upside down. This novel is a zom-com-rom, blending a zombie apocalypse with humor and romance. "Good morning, welcome to Grand Crest Hotel. May I have the name under which the room is booked?" "Han So Hee," she replied. The receptionist typed quickly on the keyboard. "Ah, yes, Ms. Han. You're in room 1102 on the 12th floor." She handed her the room key card. . . she found a convenience store connected to the mall, purchased some samgak-Gimbap, and ate quickly. she stepped outside, expecting the usual bustle of evening activity. As she scanned the empty area, her eyes caught a figure-a man standing far away, motionless. Something about the way he stood unsettled her. Then, out of nowhere, a group of people rushed toward him. Startled, Han took out her phone, recording the scene from a distance. "What's going on?" she wondered. Planning to at least send the video to the police. "I shouldn't get involved in a street fight when I just landed here, right? ..." "Ugh ... I don't Know ..." She stepped closer, but what she saw next made her freeze in fear. The group wasn't just attacking the man. They were biting him, tearing at his flesh, their movements jerky and unnatural. Her stomach churned as her mind screamed the truth: "they weren't people. They were something far worse." . . "How did I end up here?" she wondered. "This feels like something straight out of a drama..." . . "How do people in dramas do this? she thought, feeling the sharp ache of hunger gnawing at her insides. They train for days without eating, and somehow they're fine. But here I am, struggling to even think straight." . . . She have to survive this with... ..Training.. ..Finding other survivors.. ..Finding a Safe Place.. ..or.. .. ..Finding Love..?
Hell's Earth Part 2: Lies In Ranks by ZomRotic

She hovered in the air with fear and disbelief. He had just crashed through multiple sky scrappers with the last one being the Empire State Building. It imploded over him raining down glass, concrete, twisted steel beams and large marble chunks from the floors and would have crushed and killed any normal person. He glared into her eyes with a loathsome hatred that burned deep inside him. His pitch black eyes and flaming retinas curled a thick black smoke up over his head and broke over his horns like waves. Smoke fumed and curled from his nostrils as he pawed the ground ready to charge at any minute. His massive black hooves had large serrated edges. His muscles rippled through his thick fiery red skin. His ten feet long black onyx twin edged horns looked more like fierce swords ready to slice her apart. They paled in comparison to his massive body. He weighed six thousand pounds and was six hundred sixty six feet tall and long. Each of tails had trident like spikes with barbed serrated edges. His spine was a row of six feet tall spikes that if she were to land on them, would turn her into minced meat. They had large thick barbs that surrounded them. This bull was Satan's creation and by his decree, was going to ensure that Draonai was going to die a very painful death. She was in the fight for her life and what remained of the human race. This is the second part of an on going series. I hope you all enjoyed part one and look forward to the reviews and comments and hope you all enjoy reading my stories as much as I enjoy writing them.
A Different Virus - Laura's Story by CrystalScherer

This is a second view point from my original story - A Different Virus - Heartfire. I highly advise reading the original book first. Intro: Laura was a happy child without a care in the world. She loved her parents and life was perfect. Nothing seemed like it could go wrong. People started talking about a bad flu that was spreading and sending some into a coma. Her parents grew worried and stocked the house in case of a pandemic. Months later another virus appeared. Her family was shocked when the news people started reporting that zombies were actually real and not just part of a horror movie. They were appearing in every country. Her parents reassured her that none of the zombie sightings had been anywhere close to them. Her life is turned upside down when her father ends up in hospital with the bad flu and mother exiles her upstairs for her safety. She was never allowed downstairs again. Weeks pass and the streets become deserted with the exception of the red eyed zombies that wandered around. One night she notices a swiftly moving figure with glowing blue eyes in the street below. Should she call out or remain silent? Is this fleeting shadow something that can help her or could this mysterious figure be even more dangerous than the zombies themselves? ---------------------- Ranked #1 Apr 10, 2018 (A huge thank you to all who read and voted!)
