Donovan is the son of the Intergalactic Planetary Alliance's most-respected captain and a bit of a trouble-maker. Years ago Molokai was taken in by the IPA when his parents died in a space attack. Since then he and Donovan have been extremely close. They keep each other sane and Kai tries to keep Donovan out of messy situations.
When Kai leaves Don's side for the first time since they were introduced they realize just how bad they function without each other. All while they discover something that can potentially put the entire universe in danger.
