Digit (A Mina Ashido X Male Reader Fanfic)
Technology. A simple word, isn't it? Well... Not really. It can be anything. Your phones, your PC, or any other device you're using to read this description. BUT... It doesn't end there. Televisions, radios, refrigerators, ovens, blah blah blah, the list goes on and on. Pretty cool, huh? Well, now, let's think of technology in a fictional world. Or even better, a fictional world, where people have gone through mutations in their very genes, giving them specific "inhumane" abilities... Coined as "quirks". In the light of such mutations, people started to bring their dreams to realities, and the concept of "heroes" and "villains" came up. Such genetic mutations spread all around and now, the mutated people, or, "quirked" people, make up about 80 percent of all human life on this fricking earth! Getting back to the point, technology surely has MUCH MORE influence and practical use in this world. Now, imagine the power to control this technology. Or, having a quirk that allows you to do so. Let's join each other and follow the journey of a young man named Y/N Colomar, who has this specific quirk. Like any other kid his age, he wants to be a hero. He just wants to help others, and see people's smiles at the end of the day. The only issue is... The dude is a complete shy introvert. Best rankings: 01/08/2024: #1 in #malereaderinsert
Swear I Never Would Club
Tinker, Tailor, Solider, Spy and a Guy. The talented twists of souls that combine to make the club are intertwined with the harsh reality of addiction. Did you know that people whom have addictions generally also are prone to high intelligence. As per Verata Health: Specifically, the study found that men who had a mean IQ score of 109 (the highest in the study) were trying drugs much earlier and also used drugs more frequently than those who tested with an IQ of 100. So the questions go through your hypothesis. Yes, each parent, friend, partner or loved one asks these questions! WHY?? These hypotheses argue that intelligent people who use drugs: Are easily bored - As a result, they look for new and novel things to push their mind. Drugs, being a dangerous and risky thing, entertain and even challenge their minds. Need new challenges - Success often comes easily to intelligent people and they may need to overcome new challenges regularly in order to feel a sense of personal progress. And what is more difficult than beating addiction? Try to fuel their creative fires - Intelligence and creativity are highly linked and the myth that drug use helps fuel creative genius has been spread for centuries. Unfortunately, this may lead intelligent people to try drugs. The Swear I Never Would Club consists of many members. I'd like to introduce you too some of them, if you'll let me. These stories are loosely based on people I've met throughout my journey through addiction and beyond. I am writing this as I experienced it through real situations and twisted tales. Enjoy the ride.Concluida
The Mafia's Heir
Someone once told me that death is not the opposite of life but rather a part of it. They were right. Death brings no suffering especially when one has witness so much death you just become numb to the suffering. I cant tell what is worst feeling pain or feeling nothing at all. Luckily for me all I feel is pain as my blood flows onto the dirt road and I glance at my surroundings, a war zone. Soldiers who blindly followed there leaders into battle. Some wincing and limping others not even the slightest movement shown. *whack!* My head whips as a fist connects to my jaw. Barely able to see and high on adrenaline I do what any insane man would I smile a big ass smile which only makes me look batshit insane. "Die Already!" "You should know by now Capo..." I say with distaste. "The Prince of Darkness can't be killed so easily," my smile shifts to an evil smirk which only irks him further. He sends another blow straight to my face and I go down. I couldn't help but let out a dark, sinister chuckle. This is what I was born for... my family's very own killing machine. This was the world I was born into. Gathering what strength I have left I rise up from the ground. The dried up blood mixed with dirt sticks to my skin while my wounds make it even more difficult to move. Before he has a chance to strike me again I grab a broken off branch and stab him with the sharp end of the stick. He falls forward and I catch him by leaning him against my own batted and bruised body. He starts gurgling blood when I lean close enough to whisper, "What do you think of the monster that you created...Uncle?" My name is Myth Perez and this is my story. This is the story of Myth Pérez who finds out after moving to New York City that he is the Heir to the Spanish Mafia. Myth has to deal with a whole lot of family drama and of course secrets that start to come out into the open.Concluida
Running from the gang
In life, we do things we regret, or that we wish we could wipe from our memory forever. At the age of 15, I didn't think I'd regret anything until I was an adult. I considered myself care free. I lived life one day at a time. Well, as much as a 15 year old can. But in life, there are also things that we can't change, that we can't forget. Circumstances change, events occur, and life as we know it is altered forever. For me, it was one night, that set in motion a series of events that I wouldn't be able to forget, even if I tried to. *************************** My life was spectacular, or cool, but I was content, and that's all that mattered. I wasn't overly popular, I wasn't the prettiest girl, and I didn't live in a mansion. I did have a great boyfriend, and amazing friends, and hell, I wasn't doing too bad in school either. But that all changed one night, as I was walking home at night. I witnessed a man murder someone he claimed was a snitch, something to do with a gang deal gone wrong. When I found my parents dead the next day in a serial killers wet dream, my naive self decided the best thing I could do, was run, giving up everything I loved. After 2 years, 3 dead members of the gang and a new school, I was found. When secrets are unraveled and with the FBI somehow involved, nothing is as it ever seemed.Concluida
El Beso de la Traición
Rica is a young woman living in the heart of Bogotá during the 1980s, a time when the city is drenched in both wealth and blood. But Rica isn't just another streetwalker-she's exclusive. A sought-after beauty working in Las Orquídeas, a high-class brothel reserved for Colombia's most powerful men: politicians, corrupt elites, and the infamous narcos of Pablo Escobar's empire. When DEA Agent Javier Peña enters her world, it's not love at first sight-it's cooperation. Peña, focused on bringing down Pablo Escobar and his empire, needs information, and Rica, with her connections to the city's most influential men, becomes an unlikely ally. What begins as a cautious partnership, born out of necessity, soon leads to a complicated relationship where trust, loyalty, and ambition collide. FORGET ME NOT
Genevieve Anderson, the girl that had been left behind and forgotten. In a town where everybody knows everybody, meaning that no one goes unnoticed. Nobody just grabs a bag and leaves in the middle of the night, without someone seeing something. Nobody changes identity over night, and is suddenly left with the care of their father in her hands. Forgotten over night, Genevieve changes the person that everyone thought they knew. Gone was the girl that would smile and wave to everyone, was replaced by a girl that had a need for stealing and getting by every day. She had been left with the responsibility of an old ranch that was no longer in operation and the care of her father, who had been to war, and was suffering from additions like there was no tomorrow. Gone was the girl that depended on her big brothers to open the gate, replaced with a girl that worked long hours at the ranch, before she was sneaking out after midnight, to drive whatever cars her brothers had left behind. Except, one day, something happens and everything takes a turn for the worse. "I left you here, for 20 minuets, and you have already let him relapse?! I trusted you, for a second, and you backstabbed me?! I can't believe any of you anymore, because you are made of lies!" Holding on by a string, Genevieve isn't sure how much more she can take, especially when people appear from the past she thought she left behind, when she was 5 years old. Time moves on for a reason, doesn't it? "I told you to forget about it. It's in the past, and nobody has ever asked me to do what you are asking me to do. You are asking me to put away my boots and hat, and stand in front of people in heels and a puffy dress. That's not who I am, if you had stuck around to find out who I really am.
