Based off of the short story Harrison Bergeron, in this AU the unexpected is the expected. Since no one can be perfect every one is the same. They have radios in one ear to make them dumber, weights on their arms to make them weaker, masks on their faces to make them uglier.

And Marinette can't stand it any longer. In this alternate miraculous universe, Marinette has scoliosis, a genetic deformity in the spine. It's what helps make her equal, though she still has to wear weights, and a hideous mask. All seems for lost until a new boy comes to school. He has the ugliest mask, and the largest weights, Marinette has ever seen. And a tiny radio in his ear to make him dumb. 

And she falls head over heals for him. 

Together, can they stop the government from their wrong doing? Will love force them to take off the masks? Is ballet going to make a change for their lives? Read to find out!

She started coughing. "M'lady are you okay?!" Chat said desperately. "I'm...fine" as soon as marinette said that she felt dizzy and crashed into the ground. She gripped her side tightly. The pain wouldn't go away. "M'lady!" He shouted when he heard her fall. "Chat please..i'm f-fine! Go fight! She said struggling to talk. She broke into another coughing fit. On a visit to Marinette's, Plagg posed a request that changed both of their views on each other. How on earth are the kwamis supposed to keep this up? He would do anything to see that mysterious girl , but he also knows that she doesn't want him to know and respects that . Negative emotions sometimes overtake him , but tries to hide them , fearing that he will get akumatized . He doesn't like all those secrets and he wants to make Ladybug understand that hiding her identity from him , won't change anything ,but make it worse , he doesn't want to tell her about his fear , so Ladybug refuses to reveal her identity , but telling the truth . Chat Noir gets very emotional about and Ladybug too , but the only difference this time is that Chat Noir has let negative emotions take control ...
