Home for the Stanton siblings was wherever the family could be with one another. As kids, Giancarlo and Nic were never left home for too long. Like any brother and sister, they had their own interests and their own friends that would take them on short-term adventures away from home. However, as they got older, it was following their dreams that transformed those short-term adventures into long-term ones. Following their twenty-something-year-old dreams meant that their lives had become somewhat foreign to one another. With a case of luck, fate, and timing, these siblings reunite thanks to the great city of New York. While the lives of these siblings might be different than they were 10 years ago, some things haven't changed: that is the closeness of these two. Nic quickly befriends Giancarlo's friend and teammate, Aaron; a friendship that seemed as though it existed for 20 years instead of a mere 2 years. She continues to refamiliarize herself with her brother's life, as she finally meets his long-time friend Christian who she has heard so much about. Her brother's career has opened up a world of opportunities for Nic, but these opporunities require her to accept all of the change in her life. All these changes might just lead Nic to the one thing in her life that she was lacking in her life: her great big love story. Giancarlo's life in baseball and Nic's life after college fuse together as they rediscover what home means. Perhaps their home is different than how they remember, but is that such a bad thing.
