Elizabeth Meyers was an adopted child with a secret that she kept from everyone, including her parents. At night when the world was shrouded in darkness, she could become something else, she could escape. 

It was ironic that she was known as the 'lone wolf' by her peers at school as that is exactly what she was. A lone wolf without her pack.
