The entire network of communications between cities, countries and people has shattered. In Eden (a futuristic city with huge gaps in wealth) the people believe that they are the only civilisation in existance. Skyscrapers obscure the nightsky and trees, birds and bees haven't been seen for many years. Only the richest of the richest have access to fresh fruit, vegetables and books. The others that aren't as fortunate and live underground and only get mealreplacements to eat. If they're lucky they might get a sip of water now and again. Elin Blackburn is a computer scientist like most of the other middleclass citizens. The middleclass gets to choose if they want to work with technology or as peace-enforcers. Elin showed potential, to be a really astonishing hacker, from the early age of ten. She is fearless, tells dirty jokes and has a short fuse. The one thing that scares Elin Blackburn is the thought of being caught by the government for hacking into their database.... OBS! .................... This story is under mayor renovation at the moment :) I will try to fix it soon and then continue the story.. I have some plot holes and grammar mistakes to fix.

. Three years. It had been three years since he'd been taken, experimented on, had his DNA altered and became a freak of nature. He knew because he'd managed to peek at the computer when they dragged him into that dreaded room; the one they used to prod, poke and inject him with god-knows-what. He was considered their only success - meaning their illegal tests hadn't killed him or rendered him paralysed, or worse; brain dead. He was subject 254. And he was the only survivor. At least until she - subject 391 - moved into the cell next door. - - 18th June 2018 - Rank 1 #sciencefiction 17th May 2019 - Rank 4 #romance 22nd Feb 2019 - Rank 1 #superpowers -- ** NOW COMPLETED**
