"Is it wrong I'm falling for Julia's teacher?" Alexis Raisman, a bad and abusive relationship resulted in an amazing daughter. Julia, her 7-year-old daughter, is her whole world, she bends over backwards trying to keep her as far away from her father, Peter, as there is humanly possible. Peter ruined Alexis' life, in more ways than one. After three years of a happy life as a single mum, Peter comes back, saying Alexis only has four months left with Julia, until he will get full custody, and take Julia away from her. But he keeps dropping in on they're life to "remind her", telling her how much he "loves her". Scared and distraught, Alexis goes to a parent - teacher conference. Julia goes on and on about how her second year teacher, Mr. Styles, is "super cool" and can sing really well. When Alexis and Mr. Styles formally meet, will she find more than a great teacher?

As a thirty two year old fan of Harry Styles, Cassie is used to the eye rolls and groans whenever she mentions his name. What they don't know is that this man has saved her life. When she's drowning in her own mind, it's his voice that brings her back to the surface. After sending a letter that she almost immediately regrets, Cassie assumes it's ended up in the wrong hands but when she forms an unlikely friendship with a stranger, Cassie's life starts to change. Time after time she is reminded of what the people closest to her, think of her. If only there was someone who could help her realise her true self-worth. A love story of a different kind. * * * * * * * * Excerpt: "I didn't mean it! Please believe me. Please don't leave" I plead with everything in me, she can't fucking leave, not like this. Still with my hands on her shoulders while standing behind her, I feel them slump as she sighs. Slowly she starts to turn towards me, all the while looking down at the floor with her hair hanging down around her face so that I can't see it. "Please, stay" I whisper, squeezing her shoulders softly. "Please."
