Mario has been suffering nightmares for fifteen years after the World of Light Incident. He was worried about what will happen next to his family and friends. The danger once again rose when a New Powerful dark force (Stronger than Galeem and Dharkon and Tabuu.) threatens the universe. His dreadful nightmares came true. Mario once again - with Old Friends and new friends - will have to stop the power of the New enemy before death comes to everything and everyone he loves.
Many twists and turns will occur throughout the story.
This story is an alternative look into the aftermath of the World of Light game mode in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

You remember that awesome story mode from SSBB? Well, this story is my adaptation of the story mode. All characters mentioned in this story and all rights go to their respective owners. I own absolutely nothing, and no copyright infringement is intended. Thank you, and enjoy. The way that this story works is that I've given the characters dialogue, and I'll provide translations for the Pokémon in parentheses. I also decided to make Marth's dialogue english because I don't understand Japanese. It's also based on my personal experience. A quick note on character relations; Newcomer characters will only know another veteran character only if they're from the same universe. This applies to veteran characters knowing newcomers. Since it's established in this game that Zero Suit Samus is just her without her regular suit, she still knows Pikachu because they met in a previous smash game. This story explores how the Super Hero Brothers came to be. It's told through the eyes of Nate and Whisper, who stumble upon a mysterious place called the Light Realm, where all sorts of video game characters coexist. Life is great until a snake-haired goddess named Medusa shows up, wreaking havoc. She turns her sister and nephew to stone, enslaves everyone by turning them into zombie-like creatures, and plunges the entire place into darkness. Nate, Whisper, and a few others manage to survive, but they're at a loss about what to do next. Then they catch wind of a powerful item that could stop Medusa in her tracks. So, they band together and set off on a perilous journey through the Dark Realm to retrieve this item and save their home. But it won't be a walk in the park-the dangers they encounter will test their courage and resolve. Will they succeed in getting the item and saving the Light Realm, or will they fail and doom everything forever? You'll have to read it to find out!
