Detroit. L'après révolution. La présidente Warren a été assassinée à cause des mesures qu'elle prenait pour sauver les machines et un nouveau président a été élu. Ce dernier rejette toutes les lois favorables pour les Androïdes et ordonne leur destruction. Markus a été détruit. Des libérateurs, il ne reste plus que Connor et North. Le premier ayant perdu son ami le lieutenant Anderson lorsqu'ils essayaient de fuir le génocide des machines. A partir de ce jour où il a tenu son cadavre dans ses bras, la machine est devenue méconnaissable.
