She sat there, laughing at the new first-year duo. Her laughter was the summer rain and the birdsong too, and every time I heard it, no matter the weather, the sun brightened. It was as if her sound lifted a veil from our eyes and allowed us to see the world more clearly. It's funny how laughter can do that, those honest rumblings of the soul.
Her laughter was something that made both of the first years blush and keep sneaking glances at the mysterious girl. Little did they know...
