Poems are a great help to depression. My cover is not be very appealing and my title seems boring. Poems are also not liked by people very much and is considered boring. I may not get many views. But in the end "Don't judge a book by it's cover" only wins. So I have bought you some sad poems, food related ones, poems related to the things I love, Love yourself, Romantic and many more. These are written by me and please don't post it anywhere without my permission. To explain you why I have added a pink heart with black background, it is because the poems tell a story of girl(me) to whom people think she is very cold, straight forward, rude and all those things but... in reality she is too soft for this harsh world. The pink heart represents the softness she is hiding inside using her black side so no one would misuse her. The angel in her still haven't faded after getting betrayed, lost, depressed, fake people, bully and many more. She doesn't wants to go through this again. The pink background in the upper half tell that she still have hopes in her life. I want the readers to know the deep meaning behind the Title themselves and I won't reveal it until the end of the book. Keep your guesses up and think what possibly could be the meaning of this unusual title. Thank you and enjoy the journey of this little girl warning: if you are expecting this to be a story then sorry it isn't a story but a collection of poems written by the "little girl" depending on her mood that time. It is more like a Journey. You could skip it if you want to. Or learn about the little girl I'm representing/my life. Pages filled with thoughts I wouldn't dare say out loud. The weird, random moments that stuck with me, the people I noticed but pretended I didn't. The way I felt about things I acted indifferent to. It was all there, inked into the pages like a conversation with myself. No one would ever read it. No one would ever know the things I thought about, the things I laughed at, the things that made me roll my eyes at myself. Like how I let my gaze linger too long on that boy before groaning at my own damn self. Or how I swore I didn't care about people, but some part of me still held onto the memories of them anyway. My journal didn't judge. It just took everything in, let me spill it all out without making it a big deal. Without making me a big deal. So I wrote. Scribbled fast, let my thoughts spill onto the paper. Then I closed it, held it close for a second-like I always did-before tucking it away again. Out of sight, but never really out of mind.

If I wrote it all out could I see the signs I've been missing? I know I can't change the past but can I change the world I live in? I've been waiting on you to come back home, true perception made a difference. Home is where you are, it always has been. I'm sorry home wasn't safe for you to be. I'm so grateful to welcome you back. Using my own life experiences, I began to write out everything as I felt it, creating space to keep inventory of the many cycles of my emotions. We all have a story to tell, my only goal was my honest vulnerability in the discomfort of my own growth. I didn't love the narrative I had about my world, so I decided I wanted to change that. Every poem in 'Waiting On You' is an honest reflection of what it felt like for me to go through the process of learning to truly love myself enough to be the person I need for myself. My hope is that the words I write and the art I create allow you a piece of understanding and validation of your own life and how you create it.

"I got you something." He told her pulling away, while she watched him curiously until he pulled out a pandora bag. Her eyes widened at the necklace with an infinity symbol in crested with small little diamonds. "How you even afford this kari?" She questioned, unable to take her eyes off of it. "Shit, my savings." He rubbed the back of his head that possessed his starter loc twists. "That was so nice of you, you didn't have too." She smiled softly finally looking at him, "Can you put it on me?" He stood behind her and she moved her hair out of the way as he put it around her neck and clipped it back together. Her hand immediately went to it. "I'm never gone take it off." She promised him turning to face him. "I love you kari." "I love you too, hone. Til Infinity." --- When an unfortunate sequence of events suddenly separates two bestfriends, Dakari and Honesty, with no plausible reason, it's shakes up the world of the two inseparable individuals. With no goodbyes shared, Dakari was left feeling alone and heartbroken by the sudden disappearance of the only person outside of family that he cared for deeply. The outside world declared Dakari mad at the world, and he didn't think he could ever get over the missing void created by her absence. When honesty finds herself back where it all began, she discovers the hard way that Dakari no longer wants anything to do with her. The unexpected reunion rekindles unbearable memories of their deep connection and the painful separation that slowly but surely leads them back to each other. It's up to them to pick up the pieces of their broken friendship as they confront their past and face what's in store for their future, whether it's together or apart.
