Liliana, a mortal girl in a world of magic, struggles with her own identity as she's thrown into a terrible situation, and must learn about her own part to play. Her childhood friend Eden, a powerful young sorcerer, reconnects with his roots to bring justice for his people against a tyrannical queen. They're joined by a mysterious, dark and cold-hearted mercenary with many secrets, who starts becoming close to Liliana. Simultaneously, former best friends Winter and Monica must reconcile after a major falling out in order to fight against a far bigger threat within the political system of their kingdom with the help of the High Princess herself. The world has ignored the small, the lost, the young, and the forgotten for far too long.

Following the events of Before You Were Born, Sylvie finds herself in the crosshairs of Oberon, King of the Summer Court, as he accuses her of upsetting the delicate balance of power in the fey realms. Now she finds herself tasked with traveling to the Wylde to make amends to Queen Morrigan of the Winter Court. Despite her best efforts, Rayna and her other friends get dragged into the mess! These are the adventures of an elf and human in a modern fantasy world, full of magic, monsters both physical and psychological, and bumbling queerness. (Note: Out of an abundance of caution, I've marked this story "Mature" since it deals with darker subject matter than Before You Were Born. Please read with discretion.)
