Okay, so here's the story of how I came out to my parents, almost got sent to a mental institution, stole a car, met a pan truck driver named Marlin, put on eyeliner for the first time, got slapped by a chicken, became a wanted criminal, and started going by Sapphire. Comedy? Yes. Exaggerations? You bet. Romance? For me, no. Just one of the craziest road trips of my life.
