When Hanabi was kidnapped, and they went to get her back she didn't expect Naruto to be more distant than ever. He could barely stand next to her, and she blamed herself for it. She thought she was the problem but when she found out the real reason her love for Naruto turned to pure hatred. What will happen when hinata isn't the same as anyone remembers, as he remembers. He barely knew her but wanted to after finding interest in her. !Warning!⚠️ I will be doing edits while posting so if it looks different, it's because I'm changing the format. Naruto realizes his feelings for Hinata as he spends more time with her but puts them aside. War being right around the corner, he couldn't help but grimace at his decision to confess to her when it was announced and didn't think it was appropriate when everyone is so stressed about it. Naruto does not remember that Hinata confessed to him at all. Childhood traumas further prevent him from expressing his feelings. Hinata, meanwhile is saddened that Naruto doesn't remember her confession but decides to not bring it up. Protecting herself from further embarrassment. When the war was announced she distracted herself by getting stronger.
