Sarafina never got much attention in the movie, so I've decided to make her a backstory for you guys to enjoy.
On the outer lands neighboring the Pride Lands, a small family of lions lived. Baraka and Nyah (Ny-yah) became newly parents to a female cub, Sarafina. Kito, Baraka's brother, begrudgingly accepted the new bundle, Imari, Baraka's sister, was flooded with joy and Monifa, whom is mother to all three, loved the child like her own.
All sweet, until troubles are stirred and raised. Being a lion outside of the protection of a pride isn't that easy, and Sarafina is confronted with that dread.
Hurt, faced with loss, the safety of her life and the adjusting to survive the once peaceful nights. A pair of eyes full of vengeance, so close to her, watching her every step, wicked ideals seeping from the glare.
Would Sarafina make it out alive?

I've read quite a few fanfic stories out there and this one isn't very good in comparison, but I'll post it for others who might find it entertaining--it was certainly entertaining to write. The kids get tickets on a trip from Cynthia on a contest she won and she sends 4 tickets 🎟️ to them to go to Africa, to see all the different animals and experience the wild life. But while they took a tour bus they got bored and snuck off and ended up getting lost, until they end up in the Pride Lands and they become friends with the lions 🦁 and a cub named Simba. And Verago come as well as he snuck aboard the trip and he gets turned into a lion cub to fit more in. While at the Pride Lands they learn about the Circle of life and how important it is. But when the trouble happens and they run away the Pride Lands get ruined and they must work together with Simba and help defend it and restore the Pride Lands.

While this book could operate as a standalone, you might be confused if you haven't read part one yet as I flesh out a lot of the characters for this one in part one. Trigger Warning! Some of these chapters in the beginning are a bit dark and feature themes of child abuse/neglect, parentification, abandonment, dysfunctional families, and even some mental health issues and self harm. The really dark chapters will have trigger warnings at the beginning of each chapter. I have a tendency to torture my characters with really dark backstories, and I wanted this book to reflect how I've changed and matured since writing Love at First Sight. Disclaimer: While I own the rights to most of the characters in this story as the majority of them are OCs created specifically for this fanfic, I do not own the rights to Queen Clarion, Lord Milori, Mary, Dewey, Peter Pan or any of the ministers. All credit goes to Disney for them. Snow is a special case as she was in the first movie but disappeared afterwards but was never mentioned by name so her personality and backstory are both my creations, as are the backstories for most of the canon characters.
