In life occurs such that the person you love most is sometimes the same person who is only ever at your periphery for the better part of your life, the same individual you won't even look at twice, much less notice and think: Hey, isn't that the person I'll be spending the rest of my life with?
Jiang Cheng and Lan Huan had only ever closed in on each other on a parallel, a tangent in the rarer instances. Who knew they would eventually, truly clash?
"Shall I offer marriage then, to get this over with?" Jiang Wanyin asked, eyebrows raised and lips slightly hooked up in a teasing smile.
Lan Xichen's response came with a mild flush and a breathless, "Are you teasing me, Sect Leader Jiang?"

The story follows events after canon, approximately one year since LXC's (near ending) seclusion. It is novel-based (and a bit donghua-based) with some details from the live action to get the best of three worlds. Mature rating is for offensive language. Curses are not censored (or at least until Wattpad decides it's time I should follow the terms).
Original first eight chapters are being edited and revised but will stay true to the original flow.
