Since Zayn put an end to his career, he wished he could live a flat life after so much frenzy. He was fine with inertia, he was fine with spending his days reading about what happens in the world without being actually there, feeling delightfully small. He needed to resize everything, to forget about the enormous things that were a constant source of trouble and to have everything a few inches away from him. He perceived those past years like a carousel that gives a new element to the collection of a bunch of things, both good and bad feelings, trips, entertainment, people met or just observed, that he had enough of it. He was 35 years old, he had a degree in English Literature, a bookshop of his pwn and, even though he was still young, he didn't have anything else to expect from life that was just flowing slowly for his wish. Otherwise, Aaliyah needed to put some distance between her and her past 25 years. She needed to forget the painful and dark period she has been through and start over, so Shipley, the Art Rooms and her apartment were a good start. She was okay with those little things, but the destiny had something waiting for her, Two souls forged by their past and bonded by the pages of a book, will they be able to resist to the shocks that will try to break the wires that connect them? Everything is relative, because "We all have a world of things inside ourselves and each one of us has his own private world. How can we understand each other if the words I use have the sense and the value that I expect them to have, but whoever is listening to me inevitably thinks that those same words have a different sense and value, because of the private world he has inside himself, too. We think we understand each other, but we never really do." (Pirandello) ----- artwork by me.All Rights Reserved
