Disclaimer:
I do not own the characters in the beginning of the story. However, this is my own interpretation of Wonderland and what I thought made sense not that Wonderland would ever make sense. Also this is not a repeat of what you know and yes it is a bit dark.

Fun fact:
Although in this book I had done what Disney did by making the Red Queen and The Queen of Hearts the same person, THEY ARE NOT.

In the original books by Lewis Carroll The Queen of Hearts, representing a card game, never had a sister and she is from Wonderland.

The Red Queen, represented by a chess game, has a sister, the White Queen (They are chess pieces), and are both from another realm entirely called Looking Glass Land. That is why there were two books.

Alice in Wonderland

and

Alice Through the Looking Glass (Which by the way came out 2 years later).

So why, no matter how much they tried not to be, were they drawn to each other? Peter Pan had been dead for years, and Mirana had never known about the town of Storybrooke. But when Peter came back, and brought everyone back to the town with him, the citizens of Storybrooke decided to call upon the royalty of Underland for help. Iracebeth was Mirana's elder sister. And as such, she practically raised her, and molded her into the woman she became. But she was an angry, vengeful, disastrous, overprotective thing. And Mirana wasn't going to be let out of her sight. The real question was - which of their loves was more tainted? -♢♡♧♤- Hello, there! I just want to thank you for choosing my book to click on, even if you decide to leave and not continue to read it. I've worked hard on this story, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

What if Cinderella were a mechanic? What if Snow-White were ugly? What if Rapunzel ran away on her own and became a magician? What if The Little Mermaid were originally human? This book contains a collection of twisted fairytales. So twisted are they that they almost reverse the original telling. No more waiting for Prince Charming! No sir, these princesses take their fates into their sensible and capable hands. Enjoy! ~ Nylara Note: The plot ideas are mine but some of the fairytales are loosely based on ones I've read but have not been entirely satisfied by or just wanted to revisit. Mechanica is based on the book "Mechanica", Blanche on "Mirror Mirror" the movie, Rebbecca is mine, Sapphire is based on the Ingo Series by Helen Dunmore and Freya is loosely based on "The Woodcutter's Daughter" and "East of Sun, West of Moon". Hope you enjoy!!! Cover by: @Paintfairy Previous Cover by: @mahana258 DISCLAIMER: I wrote this a long time ago so I cannot vouch for the quality of writing though I would venture to say it is much better than average Wattpad content. I am currently working on rewriting the stories so that they are better quality. This was previously posted under a different profile but because it slightly older writing, I've decided to not link it with my main account. *sigh* There goes my 1.53K reads and 1K votes :(
