The summer of '85 is over. School is starting, and everyone seems to be going about their usual business.
Mike Wheeler can't cope. It's been over two months since Will and El moved away, and the realisation that two people make a great difference arrived. The group feels empty, and so does Mike. His friends have attempted to adapt, even getting Steve interested in the game of Dungeons and Dragons, but it's not that easy for everyone. Will was right after all. They're not kids anymore. They've had their adventures.
