Hi! So, the story you is about to read... Literally may suck OwO. But who cares! I SHIP THESE TWO SO MUCH SO SUCK ON THAT PERCENTAGE OF THE FANDOM WHO LIKES THE CANON SHIP OF STEVEN AND CONNIE! I DO WHAT I WANT, BOO! Anyways, here's a detail about le story OwO.
~A-few years pass by, Steven still visits the Diamonds here and there, and it'll be a very rare time he ever talks to Spinel, let alone be able to see her, with all her new duties and all. The Diamonds felt sorry for them, and decided that Spinel should get a break from all the duties for a while to be able to spend time with Steven. But, the thing was... when she heard about this, she was really happy... like "get to finally be able to talk to your crush" kinda happy. The Diamonds took notice of this and were happy about it, but unfortunately, Steven and Connie are now a thing (no hate to those who ship it, by the way.)... Spinel knew about this of course, so whenever she talks, or even sees Steven, she... tries to bottle everything up... but can she hold it forever or will she break both mentally... and want to break apart, physically...?~

What if there was a new family who is moving to Beach city just have a peaceful life, but they ended up meeting a strange boy who is so overly Positive but has a troubled life that's trying to hide his problems with his bright smile? what do they do when they meet? This takes place after the spinel incident and steven meets a whole new family moving to beach City! Steven looks different compared to when he was kid, but after white diamond removed his gem he began to notice that something wasn't quite right so he went to the mirror and look at whats different and to his surprise, his hair was turning pink but thats not all he noticed, his Gem...it began to rotate to that of a diamond so he did the only thing he could think of, he went to the diamonds about this, so say they were shocked was an understatement, so white diamond began to explain that maybe when she removed his gem, the gem itself began to make changes because your human half can't take the diamond powers that are showing so it maybe changing you to be a half-Diamond, steven understood that his gem was only doing what it thought was protecting him. So he just let it happen even though it was hurting when his gem was rotating but white diamond said that it might take awhile for it to rotate. So he was just walking around in pain but doesn't let it affect him and he didn't tell the gems of the new changes yet. Pink, being the first one to recognize a gem emerging, told the other 3 diamonds about the information. As all four of them watched the new gem merge, it was discovered that the gem was born with two gems instead of one. Instead of shattering the gem, white diamond decided to keep them as they were a rare cut gem with an abnormal two gems instead of one. After the discovery, they decided to name the gem, Y/N. Y/N soon lived underneath the Diamonds and was treated as if she was a diamond herself. After Pink shattered, Y/N was heavily protected and had a harness around her at all times, always around either the diamonds or heavily guarded by two topazes and a jasper. After being allowed to roam around the Gem Warship, she was stopped by Steven who convinced her to help him find his friends and escape. After the explosion, she was founded by The Crystal Gems and was officially their 'hostage'. From being heavily guarded and kept within eyes sight and inside her whole life into being outside and experiencing many different emotions for the first time. This is when her story begins.
