As I sit here, gazing out of my bedroom window, I can't help but feel a sense of loneliness wash over me. It seems as though I am invisible to everyone in my life. My twin sister doesn't seem to notice my presence, my classmates at school don't acknowledge me, and my teachers don't even bother to learn my name. But the most painful of all is the fact that the boy I've had a crush on for years, Jacob Black, seems to look right through me as if I don't exist.

It's been so long since I've thought about Jacob. I had almost forgotten about him until my family moved back to Forks. Now, memories of our childhood together come rushing back to me, and I can't help but wonder if he ever noticed me. Do I even matter to him?

The only person who seems to truly care about me is my father. His love is unconditional, but I can't help wanting more. I want to be seen, to be noticed, to be loved by someone who isn't obligated to love me. I want Jacob's love.
