Kayla, a girl who grew up in the poorer, more run down and crime infested part of Gotham, witnesses the murder of both her parents. The Playboy millionaire of Gotham and his ward, Dick Grayson, take notice of her one night. Kayla is given the opportunity of a life time. Will she take it? Will her life be turned around? So far, that it's dangerous?
Set just before Robin turns into Nightwing (still in high school for a small amount of time)
This is my first story. I've never really written for anyone before. Sorry!!!!
I'm not quite sure where this story sits, in terms of comics. However, I do plan to address Nightwing and Batman issue (dick becoming nightwing after robin.... you know what I mean..... hopefully :) )

No Land for Men
The Bat is dead, gods destroyed cities and killed heroes, villains had retreated and some not even created yet. Nightwing must regain control over his crazy life, a year after the death of Bruce Wayne. A story taking inspiration from Batman comics, movies and video games, with the main character of this media being Dick Grayson, the first Robin sidekick and my personal favourite DC character. I'd like to highlight that this text is based around the concept of elseworlds, multiverses and parallel worlds. None of this is attempting to be canon, I will use some canon as the base for my writings, and I will also create my own canon. Girl Of Two Worlds
All her life Robin had always been the geeky girl with her head stuck in a comic, she had few friends and a small family consisting of a kitten and an adoptive parent. Life was pretty average and normal until someone from a different world took her life and revealed a reality which all seemed too impossible to be true. After discovering who she really was, could she ever go back to the life she had, to being the person they knew her to be. Robin had to decide, would she reminisce on the past or look forward to a new future. He feels like his entire life is on track, and he's only nineteen. Sweet, right? In fact, things are going so well that he really should have expected them to go wrong. Things are not going well for Jack. Even prison, it seems, can't keep his enemies away. And when the man hunting his is so much more powerful than he thought, who can he trust? Not the Joker, with whom he's forged a temporary alliance. And definitely not Nightwing, who Jack had an instrumental role in kidnapping and extorting. But trust often gets thrown out the window in favour of survival. And when powerful enemies, even deadlier out-of-control powers, and mutant teenagers start popping up around every corner, survival is suddenly a lot more complicated. But Donna died when Y/n was only 2 months old when her mom died, and Dick didn't want to lose his daughter too, so he never told the team about her. His life slides into further turmoil after the sudden death of his longtime butler and confidant Alfred Pennyworth. Then, just when Bruce finally gets his life back on track with the help of former Catwoman Selina Kyle, he is forced to face an old and deadly foe Bane when he kidnaps Dick's wife and former Batgirl Barbara Gordon and their baby daughter Jane Marie. Armed with an armored Batsuit he created in case Superman ever went rogue called The Hellbat, Bruce Wayne goes into battle one last time as Batman to try to save those he cares about. AUTHOR'S NOTE: Given all the hoopla surrounding the movie Batman v. Superman, I wanted to write my own Batman and/or Superman story. After coming up with different scenarios for my story, including my own version of Batman v. Superman (which I still might write later on), I finally decided on this one (for now at least). I wanted to go beyond the controversial The Killing Joke-where The Joker shoots and paralyzes Barbara Gordon a.k.a. Batgirl-and Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns that show a blatantly darker side of BM. Of course, it will be up to the individual reader if I succeeded or not.Complete
