NON-FICTION
In this modern era of constantly developing technologies, digital devices are the utmost crucial resources that underpins all of the luxuries and factors of staying synchronized with the rest of the world. Computers are amongst the most ideal examples of such digital devices - the 21st century miracle machines.

Without computers, we may find it increasingly difficult to navigate through the limits set by the demanding needs of modern lifestyles. And ofcourse, we require a minimum level of basic knowledge about information and communication technology (ICT) in order to calibrate ourselves with the other nations' advancing technology.

SUMMER HEARTS // Quackity X Reader by Lillianna1125
32 parts Complete
24 new emails looked back at you from the screen. You could feel the headache setting in, but you opened your email anyway, looking through the new messages. Two from your statistics professor, about a new assignment, another one from the RA in the dorm building, one from the admissions office, about your application to the study abroad program, one from your American history professor- Hold the phone. You rapidly clicked on the email from the admissions office, scanning through the paragraphs. Reviewing your application to the program... taking into account your grades and your major... looking at schools in the area... pleased to say we can accept you into the program. Accepted. Part of you had forgotten that you had applied in the first place; it had been months ago back at the end of last semester, and then you had gone home for the summer and put it behind you. But being back at school had brought it to the forefront of your mind again. This was great. You had needed some good news today. Turning up the music, you danced out of your desk chair and jumped around the room a little, excited. You were going to Mexico for a semester. You could already picture it now - warm weather, good food, and firsthand experience speaking Spanish for at least six months, maybe more. Not to mention all the adventures you could have in a foreign country. This would be something you would remember for years, and just thinking about it made your day better.
Fountellion in THE SPIRAL: Greenwise & the Nature of the Game by Ademc77
45 parts Complete
A gateway to a long-awaited, always-online virtual island (an 'Autonomous World' or 'Permaworld') has opened for those who've found a key. This includes Dan Harvester, a guy who lives in a run-down apartment with his cat and runs a gaming channel. He's almost done playing and testing VR games, but this one could be his final chance to - truly - level up. What can it promise to him, and all its very first 'pioneers'? 'Fountellion'...is said to be 'natural' game-world, a N.E.P. world (Naturally-Evolving PermaWorld) full of artificial life that mimics the laws of our own natural world, with its shaping force of evolution. The game promises to be more than an open-world survival experience, for there are seven 'Insights' scattered and every player can find their own path to them. How much will Dan be changed, by his own search? A game-within-a-game or a simulated homage to the natural world? A complete vision of a 'metaverse' design which overgrows or salvages addicted players? There is only one way to find out: Tune in and experience Dan's 'avalogs'. For only by completing them and the fragments from the development, may you too discover the vision and legacy of 'Fountellion'... Notes: Please be aware this is speculative sci-fi, and includes outlines for an actual game-world within the story. The project is also decentralised and open source. Read also the prequel: 'In THE SPIRAL: Connected Stories & Fragments from a Virtual Future.' And in 2023: 'Through Fountellion: A Personal Story of an 'Ultimate' Game'.... Talk to Greenwise CHATBOT.... the AI / NPC himself via 'Character . AI' and POE.....

Cytronica

59 parts Complete

For students of the Wynter Academy, the virtual world of Cytronica is the perfect after-school hangout. A private realm just for them and the local bots-no teachers, no parents. Tired of its boring ways, five students find a way to tweak its code, altering the world as creatively as they see fit. The realm has limitless potential and possibilities; letting it go to waste would be a crime. But rewriting the rules has consequences-what starts off as a fun experiment quickly becomes a dangerous situation as the once-safe world transforms into a lawless dystopia. They need to make a decision: reset the realm before the school finds out, or push its boundaries and embrace the carnage. But not all agree, and the students are forced to choose a side. And as the chaos intensifies, an all-out virtual war looms, where only the strongest can survive. A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FOR READING AND VOTING! I REALLY APPRECIATE IT!
