Keiko Mei Tadaomi was found and adopted by Karasuma Tadaomi who took her under his care and was a fatherly figure towards her. 

With her dark past and special features, she was one great mystery. When Karasuma found Keiko, she was in a state of complete terror. She had closed off her heart, not allowing trust or love to enter. She was dark and withdrawn, her eyes haunted and empty. 

 When Keiko was fifteen, Karasuma decided to send her to Class-E in hopes of her finding friendship and coming out of her shell, while also getting involved with killing Koro-Sensei. This is where her story begins.
