One of the most prominent aspects of the Wiccan religion is that of the Triple Goddess. Before we venture into the meaning and into the various goddesses who encompass this aspect in full, we must understand that the triple goddess is something that takes place in each of us, male or female, every single day. The Wiccan way is about balance. Every human being, regardless of their gender specification must find balance within themselves to find the enlightenment that they seek. The triple goddess is an aspect that is found within the feminine side of the human being. The triple aspect is broken into the maiden, the mother and the crone. This can also be equated as, research, creation and reflection.

Once upon a time, there was once a powerful, magical place, where Gods and Goddesses ruled together. That place was once known as Asgard. When their way of life was threatened, they retreated to the lands of the mortals when they were reborn into mortals until their twenty-first birthday. But they became fearful of the mortals and began to seek the guidance of one Goddess born to man. Because she was born from man, she could never have the full goddess powers. Because of the havoc that the Gods and Goddesses were created they were diminished and a prophecy was put in place of when Odin was made into a God, a few years before, the goddess of mortals will come to the Gods to assist in keeping them protected. Each life she takes, she will remember her previous lives and know each God and Goddess by looking at them. This is where Marissa's story begins. She finds herself able sense gods and she searches far and wide for them. That's when she lays eyes on the God just for her.
