As a Canadian, emergency preparedness is something I care deeply about. I have learned many lessons in this area over the last nine years in my role as a first responder. I also have more than six years of experience organizing safety logistics for events both small and city-wide in the Greater Vancouver area and received a national award for my work.

While there are plenty of legitimate reasons why I can maintain a continual aura of drama in my life. The label adrenaline junkie seems a bit final to pin on me. And this preparatory boot camp is as real as a SEALs experience can get. What are the odds of qualifying? All things considered; skill, stealth, intelligence, and running away from all the men who let me down in my life. I just know I'm made for this. We, were made for this. It's been our dream since we were littlies... I know I was meant to pursue that dream, even if I'll have to do it on my own.
