The world as we knew it was gone the moment the plague broke out and the vampire came out in attempt to take over and save their food from dying out or so that was their claim. Humans unwilling to let their freedom turn into encampment fought back. Many nations became one. 

Before they knew it werewolves had too come out to aid their mission against their common enemy. However, the government soon became the thing that the people were fighting against in the first place, encampment. The allure of safety inside designated protected barricades. It was the easiest way for their forces and allies to protect the public. But it was also cornering the people into confined areas. 

Education has changed. 

Trust is limited. 

Tests are conducted weekly. 

Boarders are shrinking. 

Safety is vital. 

Yet, in this all of this turmoil, Lana Thompson can't seem to remember a single moment of the year before this war broke out, or even what lead up to it. And for some reason she has a feeling that it has something to do with the bright red door that haunts her dreams.
