Calla Topaz doesn't remember anything before she was eleven. She woke up in a children's home, with short, vivid memories of her past. Being called crazy is normal for her, by all the therapists she's seen. All she remembers about her past is her parents being murdered when she was eight. She remembers blood sucking demons and large wolves attacking her family and her parents dieing in the attack. But the therapists have told her it's only a young child's memory creating a "fantasy" to cover the truth of what really happened.
Now being eighteen, Calla moves in with in old friend from the children's home. Mckenzie is wild, free, and boy crazy, the complete opposite of who Calla is. On a late night when Mckenzie convinces Calla to go out out with her, Calla meets Jay.
Jay is dark, dangerous and everything Calla tries to stay away from. But he's always in the right places at the right time. And she can only deny the unexplainable feelings that grow for him. Since Jay's been around everything seems to start unraveling, including Callas past.
Will Calla be able to finally remember her past and get past the scars of the truth?
