Avalyn is a girl who has high ambitions and hopes, but one day all her dreams get shattered into miniscule pieces when she finds out a life threatening secret.

When she moved house as hers collapsed from a fire, she meets River her new next door neighbor. Colours begin to spark and flames ignite between the two.

But when Ava starts to receive notes with threats written on, she ignores them until one day she can't ignore them no more. She thinks she is hallucinating the shadows that lurk behind her everyday after her Mum becomes pregnant... And the sounds in her wardrobe.
