I look at her laying on my bed. Her hair is all over the place. Her naked body filled with bruises of last night. She's sprawled out as if she owns the bed. I can't help but think to myself she was made for me but he was made for her. I will never be good enough for her how can I be? How can I help her if I was the one who got her into this mess. I can't help her if I can't even help myself. I'm fucked and as fucked up as it sounds she makes me forget everything that goes through my head and distracts me but I bring her down. I'm selfish and I need her.  

She silently stirs in her sleep clutching the bed sheets in a fetal position.

I can't look at her anymore.  I walk to the living room which still has our go to preference on the coffee table. The white powder shines with the help of the sunlight coming in through the big windows of my apartment.  I sit down at the edge of my couch before hunching over and snorting a line. It feels so different now then when I first started using, it no longer burns as much.
