I have never known much of happiness out of the 17 years I have been alive.

Blood curdling screams.

Explosions.

Blood everywhere.

I have come used to always hiding and waiting for death to come knocking on my door. But now with the help of a boy named Trunks I feel as if maybe there is a chance at a second life. Maybe there is a chance at living a life that my grandmother had once described as being normal. I want that chance for me and my younger sister as well! I hope Trunks will aide in this!
