Cal's story isn't one of those typical fun or cliché type but still, something can be learned from it just like any other story. Basically he went through hell and shit, coming from a broken family and learning how to accept it, to understanding how it's good to let go of toxic connections.

For some, going through these things will make them much more tough and strong-willed, but for him it made him more fragile and vulnerable.

Saving Grace

33 parts Complete

Cali Olsen was on a mission to drive across the country. But her broken down car left her stranded until a stranger offered her a place to stay. And even though it was nice, she wasn't supposed to stay on the farm; let alone for six months. But something in her gut told her to stay - and she soon figures out why. Jay Roberts was your typical twenty year old. Partying, late nights and fun. But more than anything, he wanted to come home. And his mistakes brought him back. But he shows up and discovers a mystery girl has turned the farm upside down. And he can't figure out why. It also doesn't help that the girl wants to remain a mystery. Over the course of a long summer, two people will discover their need for not only each other, but to be saved. [WARNING: this is an old story from my earlier days as a writer; it's severely unedited and somewhat cringe-worthy - read at your own risk.]
