The war with Gaea is over and the demigods are finally at peace. The seven think that nothing can go wrong again, ut Karma has other plans for them. Percy Jackson is not a good person. At least, not anymore. Percy has been through a lot. Annabeth is dead and his few remaining friends are scattered across America. Percy's been loyal and heroic his whole life, he's always done what the gods asked. And they have only ever repaid him with pain and indifference. So now it's his turn. His longing for justice is growing and the more bitter he becomes, the more it sinks in that without Annabeth, he has nothing left to fight for. But then again, there's nothing holding him back.
