Cordelia Marchbanks has never known peace. After being targeted by Fenrir Greyback at the age of six, Cordelia has known nothing but chaos since she became mute but contrary to popular belief, she never became voiceless. Since her attack, she spent years learning sign language as a new form of communication and quickly became used to the judgemental and intrusive stares that seemed to follow her around as a result. Now, dealing with the aftermath of her attack, the constant jokes about her signing and just being a teenager, life for Cordelia is ...eventful. Especially when you add being a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry on top of everything.
Only things start to get a little too chaotic for Cordelia when she catches the attention of one half of the red-headed duo notorious for their pranks and nothing she does to shake him off seems to work. Add on the possibility of You-Know-Who attempting to come back every year or so and the start of an extremely dangerous competition her best friend wants to sign up for and Cordelia might just have more than enough reasons to shove her head in a book and never come out.
In this hurricane of chaos, she just wants a moment of peace but the eye of the storm does not last forever and when it's gone, things might only get worse.
