Takes place right after the end of 
"We R Who We Were V3".

It's been a month since the start of Danganronpa V3. Survivor Shuichi Saihara awakens frightened after facing the supposed "Deaths" of his friends and family before the game. Now trapped in a building with the enemy, Shuichi and friends must find out how they can escape while also finding their new identities.

Meanwhile, new protagonist Tori West has returned to Japan to rejoin the Danganronpa Resistance after spending a whole year in the Americas. However he is not welcomed back with open arms. He is tasked by the the survivors of the first two seasons of Danganronpa to re-recruit five, now three veterans back to the resistance. He is joined by other veterans to form team HRTT and a new batch of teammates that form TAMS later on. On his journey he must overcome the obstacles of facing his past and the Government itself.

This is only the beginning of tough battles to come.

He had of course found it impressive how what was most likely a lie was so widely believed with little proof that it wasn't just some made-up concept used for our own entertainment and to explan day-to-day inconveniences. But he had never actually been convinced that something as far-fetched as anguished and disturbed souls wandering the face of the earth looking for vengeance or to finish something they never got to in life.
