It is the height of the Time War. Time Lord technology has been stolen from Gallifrey by human colonists from the planet Dido - an easy target for the Daleks to steal. The Doctor arrives on board and tries to take the ship back to Dido - and someone else has been sent from Gallifrey to take the ship back, none other than the Doctor's very own granddaughter...

Once they arrive on Dido, it is discovered that among the stolen tech is the Genesis Ark - a prison ship that can store millions upon millions of Daleks. As the Doctor and Susan must face up to the consequences of the past, they must protect the humans of Dido from the incoming Dalek invasion. But the contents of the Genesis Ark are so secret even for the Time Lords themselves...

Returning them back to their own times is an impossible challenge with the Doctors encountering their parallel selves, causing friction and interference across the whole of the Doctor's timeline. With the universe at its knees, and the personas of the Doctors are adrift in an eternal void trapped for eternity, one answer is still to be answered - who really is Doctor Who - Doctor Who?
